If you test positive you must be quarantined 4 days at your expense for re-entry. The hotel is prepared to offer you a discounted rate for that stay.
Vaccines and Booster are not required to enter the Dominican Republic.
Masks are recommended but not enforced. Wearing a mask is required to enter airport areas, planes, shuttles, and other forms of transportation in the Cancun airport.
The current COVID guidelines are ever-changing. Currently, the CDC has lifted the mask-wearing in all public transportation in the United States.
